As general dengue hemorrhagic fever is an acute fever and happen in tropical area. The spread of this disease almost similar with the spread of malaria. This disease is caused by one from four virus serotype flavivirus. And it spreads by aedes aegypti.
This disease it starts with high fever as continuously, with bleeding and rash with characterized by bright red. And another symptom such as stomachache, nausea, headache, pain in the joints, pain in the muscle, thrombocytopenia and hemoconcentration. The symptom in the incubation period such as the decrease of blood pressure until cause shock, there is form of bleeding in the inner eyelid, nosebleed, there are blood and mucus in the feces, happen enlargement of liver, sudden high fever 2-7 days around 38-40 degrees celcius, decrease of platelet under 100.000/mm3, increase of hematocrit up to 20% from normal value (hemoconcentration).
